Make up favourites for Autumn

Hi my loves xoxo

Its that time of year again when we get to crack out the woolly jumpers and cute winter boots. Who doesn't love layering up with cute dresses and opaque tights. My favourite thing about the change of seasons is most definitely the rich make up shades. A lot of people tend to stay away from the deep plums and rich chocolate browns in the summer because they are quite dark. I always look forward to wearing deep colours in the Autumn because there is always a colour out there to suit every skin tone. I am going to share with you a few of my favourite products that I stock up on for the Autumn/Winter months.

1. Naked 2 Palette

I absolutely love the Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay for Autumn. It has all the colours you need to create a subtle or dramatic smoky eye. Pair Bootycall and Snakebite for a subtle yet stunning look or use Busted and Blackout for a dramatic, shimmering, stop you in your tracks, smoky eye. All you need in one little palette. Its a must in my make up case for fall.

2. Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipsticks

These lipsticks are to die for. With up to 8 hours wear time they are moisturising, nourishing and the pigment is amazing. There is a huge range of colours ranging from pale nudes to rich purples. The purples, reds and deep pinks and a must for Autumn. They cost from €6.99 and available in most pharmacies.

3. Mac Rebel

My all time favourite lipstick for fall has to be Mac Rebel. This lipstick is the most amazing shade of purple with a reddish undertone. It goes on slightly lighter than it looks so don't be afraid of how dark it is. It has a satin finish and looks amazing on every skin tone. A must must must if your looking for a dramatic vampy lipstick for any occasion.

4. Hoola by Benefit

Don't believe the myth that you should only wear bronzers in the summer. You can most definitely wear bronzers in the winter. Hoola is my go to bronzer all year round. I switch back and forth between a few bronzers depending on how dark my tan is but I always go back to hoola. It has a completely matte finish without shine or shimmer and is perfect for contouring. I cannot stress how gorgeous the colour is and it seems to adapt to suit every skin tone. I will probably re-buy this product until it goes out of stock but hopefully that never happens.

5. Fuschia Mineral Foundation

The first time I tried a mineral foundation a few years ago I really didn't like it. The  texture was grainy and the application was blotchy so I swore to stay away from it forever but then I discovered Fuschia Mineral makeup. Its silky smooth, the coverage is amazing and it is buildable so you can apply however much you like for a light or a full face of makeup. I use both the loose powder and the pressed powder and they have changed my life, I always bring them with me when I travel because they are so easy to use and they withstand the heat like a dream. They come in a range of different shades and the Girls in Fuschia will colour match you in minutes so its completely stress free.

These make up products are a must in my makeup bag and I always go back to them no matter how many products I try. All products are available locally and most of them can be bought on-line. They are all quite reasonably priced and are definitely investment pieces. If I had to choose one piece that I couldn't live without it would definitely have to be the Mineral Foundation from Fuschia, it has definitely changed up my makeup routine for the better.

Love and kisses

Kim xoxo
