Good Morning Loves xoxo
For those of you that know me you already know that I have a small obsession with make up... Just a tiny addiction. For those of you that don't know me, Hi my name is Kim and I have a shopping problem :)
Today we're going to be talking about Inglot and how their Freedom System works, I know some of you die hard Inglot fans will already know all of this but for us newbies I think it's a great idea. I purchased 4 eyeshadows in the Inglot store in the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. When I went in I literally could have bought 30-40 shades including pigments, lipsticks, eyeliners, blushes, bronzes etc. you name it they have it. I went in specifically to buy eyeshadows because I wanted to see what the hype was about.
So for those of you that don't know what the Freedom System is it's basically a customisable palette that you can add your own eyeshadows, highlights, blushes and bronzer's to. You get a little magnetic palette when you arrive that you can place your chosen colours on and when you are finished you give your palette to the employee and they go and get all the products you have chosen... simple as that. There are so many palettes to choose from to store your shadows I found it hard to pick one but I decided to go with a quad, you know start small and then go back and buy them all.
I chose 4 colours because I actually couldn't decide on shades for the 6 or 8 palette so I started small. I chose 2 shimmer shades and 2 matte shades. The 2 on the bottom are my matte shades, one is a neutral brownish shade (perfect for a transition colour) and the other one is more peachy and warm (also perfect for a transition colour just a little warmer). The top 2 shades are my shimmer shades, one brown with flecks of gold, a perfect compliment to the cooler transition shade and of course a pink with silver shimmer that matches the peachy pink transition shade. I am excited to try them all and I'll let you know what I think of them.
I know what you are probably thinking..... "how in the name of christ does this girl claim to be a makeup addict but she has never tried Inglot products"???? I am a creature of habit and when I find something I like I tend to stick with it. I will buy all the new products on the market and they them out but I will always revert back to using my ride or die products, I'm currently getting braver in the world of makeup so I'm branching out and trying more new things but its a process and I'm getting there slowly.
There are so many palettes to choose from
I went with the quad because it's small and east to carry in your makeup bag. It's completely customisable and magnetic so you can swap out your eyeshadows every day. It's really sturdy and it's amazing quality. I have to say I'm really impressed with Inglot so far, the true test will be weather or not the shadows are blendable and wear well.
Edit:
Swatched the shadows and they are beautiful.
The numbers from top to bottom are - 37, 39, 342 and 295.
I'll keep you all posted on how I feel about the shadows after I wear them for a while but judging on pigment, quality and durability of the palette and packaging its a 10/10 so far for me. Keep an eye on my Instagram page www.instagram.com/blonder_than_barbie I update every day and I will be swatching the eyeshadows later along with some other new makeup products.
Have an amazing day everyone x
Love
Kim xoxo
