urban decay NAKED ILLUMINATED review

So lately I have been obsessed with highlighters. In the past I never used highlighters because I have combination to oily skin and when I would wear a pressed powder or highlighter after a while my skin would become shiny and oily and I never liked how it looked. Recently I have changed up my makeup routine to include loose setting powder and a really good primer and I have found that my makeup lasts longer throughout the day and my skin doesn't get as shiny.

I have a few different highlighters that I use, some are cream highlighters and some are loose powder highlighters. I tend to use the powder ones more because I prefer the finish that they give. I have been using the Urban Decay Illuminated highlighter in the colour luminous for a few months now and I have to say I absolutely love it. Its different from the highlighters that I normally use because it is a baked pressed highlighter. When I first swatched it i was surprised at how pigmented it was. It has bigger pieces of glitter in it that what I was normally used to but the colour was to die for.

It comes in 2 different shades, Luminous and Aura. Luminous is a beautiful champagne colour and Aura has more of a subtle bronze shade to it. Both are stunning and Aura is on my list of things to buy but I fell in love with Luminous when I saw it. It's quite a glittery highlighter and I don't use it everyday but when I go out and have a really nice spray tan I use it on my collarbones and sweep it across my décolletage as well as my cheekbones and it gives the most amazing shimmer and glow. It comes with a little brush that is hidden in another compartment underneath the highlighter. 

Its a little bit pricey at €29.50 but I have been using it for months and I have hardly made a dent in it so I know it will be a while before I have to buy another one. All in all it is definitely worth the splurge. Bravo Urban Decay for continuing to surprise me with your products.
