Good Morning Beautiful x
So yesterday I did a review about 2 of the +Sleek MakeUP blush palettes and I have to say after using one of them again yesterday and seeing how it wore all day it just made me fall even more in love with them even more. If you can get your hands on them I definitely recommend that you do.
I wanted to see what some of the other products from the range were like so I popped into Boots and picked up another blush palette, this one has all cream blushes and I also got one of their highlight palettes. First of all let me say that this will mostly be a first impressions review as I haven't worn the highlight shades yet but I plan on trying a few of them out this weekend to see how they wear throughout the day.
I'm going to start with the highlight palette because this one just had to come home with me, I was that shocked when I swatched it in store that I couldn't leave it behind. This palette is called Solstice and it is everything you need in one little compact. At first I was apprehensive because all I saw was that purple shade and I was unsure of how that would look on the skin but when I swatched it on my arm, holy cow...... Its one of the most stunning highlighters I have ever seen.
The 4 shades are from top left:
Ecliptic, this is a cream highlighter in a stunning light copper bronze colour,
Hemisphere, the gorgeous lilac/purple shade,
Subsolar, the one on the bottom left is a beautiful light golden yellow
Equinox, a stunning golden bronze shade.
You guys, I cant stress enough how beautiful and ridiculously pigmented these highlighters are. No I am not getting paid to promote this brand as I have only just recently discovered it and I really do give my honest opinion on every product I try. This palette came in at €13.49, the same price as the blush trio and if you are serious about your highlight and are on a budget, this is the palette for you.
Sleek Makeup Blush trio in Californ.I.A
The third blush palette that I bought is called Californ.I.A. It is a 3 cream blush set and all 3 colours are beautiful. This palette is definitely a bit more subtle than the other 2 but the product is extremely pigmented and smooth as butter. This one has 2 shimmer blushes and one matte shade.
OC: Far left is a pinky peach shade with a slight shimmer
The Surf: In the middle is a very light peach shade with a subtle golden shimmer
Newport Peach: On the right is a warmer peach shade that is completely matte
Newport Peach: On the right is a warmer peach shade that is completely matte
I love every one of these shades which is unusual for me because I normally stick to a pinker palette or neutrals and bronzes. I never thought in a million years that I would be brave enough to wear peaches and oranges but I couldn't pass these considering the quality of the product.
I haven't worn any of the cream blushes yet so I'm not sure how they wear throughout the day but I will definitely keep you all posted on my thoughts when I get the chance to wear them all. I might bring them away with me in April and myself and +Aoife Connolly can try them all out in Las Vegas.
I hope this helps some of you make up your mind bout whether or not to purchase these products. So far its a thumbs up from me, we will see how they hold up in 30 degree weather in a few weeks. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
Have an amazing weekend and Happy St. Patricks Day x
Love
Kim xoxo
