Chanel Tan De Soleil Review

So on my recent trip to Las Vegas I went into +Macy's for a few things that I couldn't find in +Sephora. I knew that I wanted some of the higher end foundations that Sephora doesn't stock ( +Estee Lauder double wear ) but they didn't have my colour so I only ended up buying the +CHANEL tan de soleil. I was a bit reluctant at first because of the price tag, its $50 before tax and I wasn't really prepared to pay that for a bronzer. When I swatched it in the store it was love at first sight. It is stunning. I didn't even hesitate when I tried it, I bought it straight away.

               

This Chanel bronzer has a really smooth velvety feel. Its a cream gel bronzer with a beautiful sun kissed tan shade. It is a little dark when I use it without having any sort of tan on, I'm Irish and I have quite pale skin naturally so this is just slightly too dark to use every day but it is perfect when I use my +Cocoa Brown Tan in dark or the +stmorizselftan  tanning mousse.

The +stmorizselftan is easy to apply and the colour payoff is amazing.

I use either a Morphe M439 brush or a flat top kabuki brush from Fuschia to apply it. I apply it either under or over my foundation depending on how deep I want the colour. I apply it to all the usual places on my face, around my hairline on my forehead, under my cheekbones and along my jawline. It is so blend-able and you can build the colour to the intensity that you like. It has tiny flecks of gold in it when blended to it illuminates your skin aswell as bronzing and contouring. 

If you are hesitant to purchase this product I highly recommend that you do, you wont regret it. I don't use it every day, I think the price tag is too high for this to be an every day bronzer so I have been using it for special occasions and I will be bringing it away with me in September when we go to Orlando and Mexico. When it runs out I will definitely be repurchasing it.
