Cocoa Brown Shimmer Body Oil - Golden Goddess vs. Rose Gold Goddess

Happy Wednesday xoxo

If you have been following me for a while you will already know that I am obsessed with +Cocoa Brown Tan and all the other products from the Cocoa Brown Range. The tan, the bronzer, the chocolate whip moisturiser and the Shimmer Body Oil. I purchased the Golden Goddess body oil last year and instantly fell in love. It smells amazing, the pigment is incredible and it leaves your skin soft, silky, luminous and with an amazing golden glow. Recently Marissa Carter, the founder of CocoaBrown Tan, launched a new Shimmer oil and this one is in Rose Gold.

When I heard that this product was coming out in rose gold I knew I had to have it. I've been on the hunt for it for weeks but it only launched in Ireland recently and my friend was in our local +PENNEYS and picked one up for me. She knew I was on the lookout for one and because its limited edition she grabbed one for me to try. I was not disappointed when I opened it yesterday. It is STUNNING. Its just as nice as I had hoped it would be.

First of all lets talk about the Golden Goddess from +Cocoa Brown Tan. This is the original one and it's a beautiful Golden Shimmer shade. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump cap. The formula is quite thin and runny so it is a bit hard to control if you apply it straight to your skin. I find it better to apply it straight to a tanning mitt and buff it into your skin in circular motions.

This product is definitely a must if you want glowing, shimmering skin. It is beautiful on tanned or pale skin. Apply it to the centre of your legs, your collar bones, shoulders and cheekbones for a pop of highlight.

The newest release is the Rose Gold Goddess. I assumed that the formula on this would be exactly the same but it has a creamier texture to it. Its thicker and a little harder to spread but that doesn't make it bad, it's actually quite nice to be able to buff it in without worrying about it running off your mitt. Its definitely a good bit darker, it's more of a bronze rose gold but its absolutely stunning none the less.

The Rose Gold Goddess is stunning over a tan. I put mine over my Crazy Angel spray tan and it was beautiful, it compliments tanned skin beautifully. I have yet to try this on my naturally pale skin but I will keep you all updated on how it looks. So far on first impressions I absolutely love it. The real test will be how long it lasts on the skin once its applied. I know the longevity of the Golden Goddess is amazing and it stays on all day so hopefully the Rose Gold Goddess will be the same.

I hope this helps some of you make up your mind about these products. All of the +Cocoa Brown Tan products are amazing (no this isn't sponsored, all opinions are my own). I have yet to be disappointed by any of their products. I hope you all have an amazing week.

Lots of Love

Kim xoxo
