Gorgeous Boots for Autumn/Winter

As a lover of shoes I think we can never have enough. I have been building my shoe collection since I was 16 and I am not afraid to admit that I have more shoes than space to store them. The right pair of shoes can make a woman feel powerful, sexy and confident. Treat your shoes with respect and love and they will last you a lifetime.

When it comes to Autumn/Winter everyone digs out their comfy boots, there is something about wearing a cosy cardigan and cute boots that gets you in the mood for pumpkin spice latte's and toasting marshmallows. Here are 5 of my favourite boots for Autumn/Winter 2015. Some I have already and some of them are on my wish list. They are all gorgeous and so versatile.

1  +M&S Ankle Boots

                                  

These little beauties made it into my collection last week after I caved and bought them. I considered the purchase for about 2 weeks before I bought them but I couldn't let them go. They are made of a suede material and are ridiculously comfortable. They come in red and black and retail at €55. A definite must of you are looking for a pop of colour in your winter wardrobe. Pair with skinny jeans, a poncho and a fedora for an easy, fashionable, comfortable look.

2 Cari's Closet over the knee suede boots 

These boots are the ultimate autumn/winter boot. They are pull on boots with a tie top and a perfect heel height. They are made of suede and Lycra which make them super easy to pull up and they fit just like leggings. They retail at €99 and come in Black, Mocha and Grey. They can be worn with dresses, skirts, leggings and jeans. Perfect for every outfit, dressy or casual. These are on my wish list for Christmas, I might have to buy them in Black and Grey because I cant decide which colour I prefer.

3 Light brown tassel trim ankle boots from +River Island 

These little gems are from River Island and are probably the most versatile boots I have ever had. Wear them with leather leggings, a furry gilet and floppy hat or team them with a chiffon floral print dress and brown leather jacket. They will definitely not fail to impress. They come in this gorgeous soft sand colour or black and they cost €50. A must for your wardrobe for the autumn/winter and can also be worn into the spring. 

4 Caterpillar Colorado Boots from +Topshop 

I just love love love love these boots. They are my all time favourite style of boots. Some people have a love hate relationship with them but I have to say I have been dreaming about these boots for months and months. They are available from topshop for €155, a bit pricey but they are the kind of boots that if you take care of them they will absolutely last you years and years. Wear them with jeans and a flannel shirt or wear them with a skirt and tee. Versatile, comfortable and gorgeous. They come in a wide variety of colours and prints but this colour is my favourite. I also love the pure white ones but I haven't been able to find them anywhere in Ireland (sad face). Some day they will be mine.

5 Desert fringe high leg boots from +Topshop 

These boots would be an ultimate splurge buy. They are available from topshop and they cost €210. I had to add them in here because they are to die for. I don't think I have ever spent close to that on a pair of shoes but I would be extremely tempted to buy these. Another boot that is extremely versatile. Fringe will never go out of style and this tan colour will go with everything. They are 100% leather and do need to be cleaned with specialist leather cleaner so keep that in mind but if your looking for a pair of boots that will last you a lifetime if you love them and mind them, look no further.

So there you have it a little sneak peek into my obsession with the boots I have and the ones I have on my wish list. Investing in a good pair of boots is a must if you are looking for staple items that will be part of your collection for years. Invest in comfortable, stylish boots in a colour that you can wear with anything and in a style that wont date, you wont regret it.
